MBA Hopefuls Invited to UCR’s Graduate School of Management Open House

Faculty, key administrators and career counselors will be available to answer questions during open house event.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — www.ucr.edu — If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to get your Master of Business Administration degree, now is the time to attend an open house at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at UC Riverside. Visitors may attend any part of the event, which is free to the public and scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 7. Faculty members, students and staff members will give presentations about the admissions process, the requirements for entering the MBA program and an overview of the school’s career services. Open house activities will be centered in Room 118 of Anderson Hall South, home of the old Citrus Experiment Station. Parking for participants will be in Lot 6.

Parking on campus costs $6 per vehicle for the day or can be purchased for shorter periods at 50 cents per half hour. Parking permits and information are available from the attendant at the information kiosks at the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and University Avenue entrances.

All events will be held in Room 118 of Anderson Hall South. Events are scheduled at the following times:

  • 10 a.m. — Dean and associate deans welcome the visitors.

  • 10:30 a.m. — The admissions process and requirements for an MBA given by Assistant Dean Charlotte Weber and Student Affairs Officer Cindy Roulette.

  • 11:15 a.m. — Career services presented by Lisa Ludwig, MBA career services director.

  • 1 p.m. — Campus tours with students.

  • 2 p.m. — Why get your MBA?

Gary Anderson Foundation’s generous endowment gift to the school led to its naming for the founder of Director's Mortgage.
