More than 35 students to present their summer research on campus

EVENT:UC Riverside’s College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) is hosting the second annual Summer Undergraduate Research Conference. More than 35 undergraduate students representing all departments in CNAS will discuss their faculty-mentored research through oral and poster presentations. The free conference is open to the public. BACKGROUND:The Summer Undergraduate Research Conference showcases CNAS undergraduate researchers as well as those students who have done research in CNAS during the summer. With research ranging across all disciplines, this year’s topics include carbon nanotube growth; the production of hydrogen fuel; how drugs and proteins work at the molecular level; the properties of walking molecules; and how female crickets locate their mates.
