RIVERSIDE, Calif. (www.ucr.edu) — In the latest stop on 89.3 KPCC-FM’s “College Tour,” the Patt Morrison show will broadcast live from the University of California, Riverside from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7.

Today’s student has a MySpace page and takes a laptop to class. But the age-old issues of dating, peer pressure and student activism haven’t gone away. Host Patt Morrison will moderate a discussion among students from UC Riverside, which is one of the most economically and ethnically diverse research universities in the nation.

The discussion will take place in the Rotunda Lounge on the 3rd floor of the new Student Commons in the center of the campus. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited; parking is available on campus for a small fee.

The program is the third in KPCC’s “College Tour,” a series of Patt Morrison and AirTalk remote broadcasts this fall exploring various issues in higher education.

89.3 KPCC-FM is available throughout a wide swath of Southern California, featuring award-winning local news and signature public radio programs.
