Career Fair Set for March 3 at UCR

Riverside’s college and university students can circulate their resumes, network and learn about job opportunities at a city-wide career fair presented jointed by the University of California, Riverside, Riverside Community College, La Sierra University and California Baptist College on Wednesday, March 3.

Career Night ?9 is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the UCR Student Recreation Center. There is no admission charge for students attending the event.

The job fair will feature recruitment and information booths staffed by representatives of an estimated 140 business, industry and government employers. Students will have an opportunity to learn about current and projected job opportunities, internships, cooperative education programs and summer or part-time jobs.

Among the organizations expected to participate are ADP, Aetna U.S. Health Care, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Ikon Office, Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Disneyland Resort, PacifiCare, Ingram Micro, the Riverside County Probation Department and the California Department of Rehabilitation.

Those attending Career Night ?9 are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and dress in professional attire. Parking will be available in Lot #13 on the UCR campus for $5 per vehicle.
