MBA Student Wins UCR Management Award

Scott A. Campbell, a second year MBA student at the University of California, Riverside, has received the 1998 George W. DuBois Memorial Award from The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management.

The $1,000 award is made possible by The Lee and Rose Warner Foundation in honor of George W. DuBois, who developed the Space Center at Mira Loma. The award rewards students for academic excellence and the ability to offer unique solutions to management problems.

Campbell, who comes from Laramie, Wyoming, is scheduled to complete his MBA in March of the year 2000. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and his master's degree in botany at the University of Wyoming. He anticipates completing a Ph.D. in bo tany-plant genetics at UCR in June of 2000.

The paper he submitted is titled, "Design and Development of a Structured Employee Compensation and Merit Review Program for Brooks College, Long Beach." Campbell said he plans to enter the field of Agricultural Biotechnology, specializing in marketing, operations management and product development.
