Several Events Scheduled to Commemorate Black History
Performances Include Appearance by "Martin" Star Tommy Ford

8:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 17: Actor Tommy Ford, from the TV-show “Martin,” will perform in honor of Black History Month in the University Lecture Hall. The event is sponsored by the Associated Students Program Board.
Noon, Wednesday, February 25: Nooner: African Americans in the Arts. The event will be held in the Commons Cafeteria. It will display a view of the arts for Black History Month through dance, music, and spoken word. The event is organized by Phi Beta Fraternity and sponsored by ASPB.
7 p.m. Thursday, February 26: Culture Night in the Commons Beargrounds. Free food, fashion, and cultural dance in celebration of Back History Month, co-sponsored by Associated Students Program Board and the Nigerian Student Association (NSA).
