RIVERSIDE, Calif. ( -- A television program featuring a 1982 UC Riverside doctoral graduate who has become a leader in the field of biotechnology premieres at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 13 on UCTV.

In “Tina Nova: Advice to Young Scientists and Entrepreneurs,” Nova, chief executive officer of Genoptix, Inc., shares her experiences with young scientists at the 13th annual Southern California Conference on Undergraduate Research. Genoptix is the fourth biotechnology firm Nova has co-founded in the San Diego area.

The program will be repeated at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., Feb. 14; 4:30 a.m., Feb. 15; 10:30 a.m., Feb. 16; 1:30 a.m., Feb. 17; 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m., Feb. 18; and 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., Feb. 19.

UCTV, a 24-hour educational channel that broadcasts interviews, lectures, documentaries and performances from the campuses and national laboratories of the University of California, is available to Inland area residents on Charter digital cable channel 95 and Dish Network satellite channel 9412.
