A Preview Day program for prospective transfer students will also be held October. 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the UCR campus. Each program begins with a welcome session with UCR Chancellor Raymond Orbach. Tours of the campus and campus housing will be given throughout the day.
Workshop topics include an overview of UCR’s various academic programs, financial assistance, freshman and transfer admission, housing options, student organizations and activities, and more.
Prospective students may add to their Preview Day experience through the overnight HOST program. Through HOST, high school seniors have the opportunity stay overnight Friday, Oct. 26 or Saturday, Oct. 27 in the residence halls with UCR students. Prospective transfer students may stay overnight Friday, Oct. 26. Reservations are required.
UCR is located off the 60/215 freeway in Riverside. Exit University Avenue and turn left, or exit Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and turn right. Follow the signs to Preview Day. Parking is free in lots marked for Preview Day guests.
