"Many relatives and friends came to honor these students on this special occasion. I was happy to be able to celebrate with them today and to shake each student's hand," said UC Riverside Chancellor France Córdova. "We're sorry for the inconvenience these students faced due to the cancellation on Friday. I regret that some of the students and their family members were unable to attend today's events."
