RIVERSIDE, Calif. ( -- A University of California, Riverside marketing professor who is an expert on social media, online consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends will receive an outstanding educator award from a global marketing association in October.

Donna Hoffman, the Albert O. Steffey Professor of Marketing and co-director of the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing at the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at UC Riverside, will receive the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation Robert B. Clarke Outstanding Educator Award.

“I’m really excited about this honor because it recognizes service, teaching and research, especially the impact my research has on marketing professionals,” Hoffman said.
