Peter Hayashida, who oversees UCR alumni relations, communications, fundraising and marketing, has been elected to a two-year term as trustee-at-large.

Hayashida is one of 12 trustees elected to the board by CASE membership via electronic ballot. The results were announced July 11 during the association’s annual membership meeting in Chicago. The 30-member board sets CASE policies, approves the annual budget and ensures sound management of the organization.
Hayashida previously served as a member of the CASE Commission on Philanthropy and was co-chair of the CASE Minority Advancement Institute. He also served as a member of the 2008 CASE Summit for Advancement Leaders Planning Committee.
CASE is a professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, fundraising, marketing and other areas.
