UCR to Host Science Fair March 13-15

The best and the brightest of Riverside's student scientists will gather at the 12th annual Riverside Unified School District Science Fair to be held March 13-15 at the University of California, Riverside.

All projects will be on public display in the Commons Terrace Rooms from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 15. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in the University Theatre at UCR. Both the public display and awards ceremony are open to the public free of charge.

UCR faculty members and graduate students will be among those to judge the science project of hundreds of students, kindergarten through 12th grade. Science fair projects will cover such areas as earth science, biology, behavioral and social science, engineering, medicine and health, and zoology.

The UCR College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and the Bourns College of Engineering will host Riverside Unified School District's Science Fair. Students honored in the science fair will compete in the Inland Science and Engineering Fair, scheduled for April 25-27 at the National Orange Show, Damus Building.
