EDUCATION SUMMIT 2000 WILL DRAW LEADERS TO ONTARIO FOR A REPORT TO THE REGION SPONSORED BY BANK OF AMERICA AND THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, RIVERSIDE

ONTARIO -- UC Riverside and the Bank of America Foundation will unveil the first "Report to the Region" about area schools since the establishment of a $1 million public-private partnership that will focus on improving the quality of public education in t he Inland Empire.

The purpose of the partnership is to provide Inland Empire public schools with the tools and resources they need to meet Governor Gray Davis' expectations for school reform.
